Getting there · Carmel-by-the-Sea
Carmel-by-the-Sea has no street addresses: venues are given by cross streets. The festival's home is the Golden Bough Playhouse, Founders Theatre, on Monte Verde St between 8th and 9th Avenues — the seventh stop sign up from Highway 1 on Ocean Ave, then left on Monte Verde.
Carmel has no parking meters. Downtown blocks are posted 2-hour or 30-minute; the free City lot at the Sunset Center North Lot (entered on 8th Ave between San Carlos & Mission) has no time limit and is about a 6-minute walk to the theatre.
Passes: 4-day all access and 1-day passes are sold on the festival site. Evening parties are for pass holders.
