Drama: Directed by Jon Ayon (Oakland & Santa Cruz, CA) Niki, Tomi, Beto, and Ernie are four close-knit cousins growing up in Q&A till 11:50 AM. Northeast LA. Haunted by the Nahua deity Tlazōlteōtl, they try to protect each other from the violence and family strife threatening to tear them apart. As Ernie gets increasingly involved with his gang, he tries to maintain a caring and protective role with the younger Niki, Tomi, and Beto. Not official — our suggestion: the free City lot at Sunset Center's North Lot, entered on 8th Ave between San Carlos & Mission (no time limit; about a 6-minute walk west on 8th to Monte Verde). Street parking around the theatre is free, but downtown blocks are posted 2-hour or 30-minute — read the sign. Vista Lobos (3rd Ave & Torres, free) is a backup, roughly 15–20 minutes on foot; no parking there 11:30pm–6am. The theatre has one accessible space out front on Monte Verde.
