Bobble Hat
Animation: Directed by Zitong Cui (China; UCLA) This is an original story I created titled Bobble Hat, and its theme is friendship and loss. The overall style is like watercolor illustrations—vivid and colorful, without clearly defined objects. Everything is abstracted into shapes and lines. The inspiration for this story came from an image I once saw. I thought there must be a lot of interesting stories happening inside those little bubble chains. The two main characters are CO₂ and O₂, symbolizing photosynthesis in plants. In my story, they pilot bubbles together on various missions. Since

🅿️ Parking
Not official — our suggestion: the free City lot at Sunset Center's North Lot, entered on 8th Ave between San Carlos & Mission (no time limit; about a 6-minute walk west on 8th to Monte Verde). Street parking around the theatre is free, but downtown blocks are posted 2-hour or 30-minute — read the sign. Vista Lobos (3rd Ave & Torres, free) is a backup, roughly 15–20 minutes on foot; no parking there 11:30pm–6am. The theatre has one accessible space out front on Monte Verde.
